The iPhone 11 Pro is the successor to the iPhone XS, while the iPhone 11 Pro Max comes as a replacement of the iPhone XS Max. It had incredible battery life, an amazing camera, and a beautiful OLED display and industrial design. But when the iPhone 12 range landed, Apple decided to kill the iPhone 11 Pro Max. The decision to discontinue the iPhone 11 Pro Max was apparently taken in order to bolster sales of Apple’s newer 5G iPhones inside the iPhone 12 lineup.
Keep in mind that when the iPhone 11 Pro Max first launched it cost over double that much – around $1100. It’s still a killer phone, so if you’re not bothered about 5G, this is the one to go for. If you want 5G support, go with the iPhone 12 Pro Max or the iPhone 13 – both are cheaper than Apple’s current models.
