Hello to all! As the title say, I wanted to make a setup with a H shifter + a sequential shifter to get all 18 gears on ETS2. My idea is to make something similar to what some 4x4 pickup trucks have, using the H shifter from 1 to 6, then press foward on the sequential to set to a new range making possible to use the H shifter from 7 to 12. Pressing foward again on sequential would give me 13

I normally run the Freightliner FLB with a 18spd Eaton Fuller transmission in ATS, which supports the h-shifter style nativly. I have been trying to run this same setup in ETS2 - same truck, same engine, same transmission (thanks to all the awesome modders), but ETS2 doesn't have the option baked into their shifter layout for eaton fuller style
Every once in a while I have to do total reboot and then open the Logitech app and then start ATS. Make sure all is connected before turning pc on. Open the controls.sii file in a plain text editor (e.g. Notepad, not Microsoft Word). (Make a backup copy of the file first in case you mess something up.)

You need to map your buttons to shift-up and shift-down, not to the actual gears; those mappings are for h-shifters which "hold" the press when placed into a gear. #1.
